Airbag Light & CES Light 1994 Camry
I am in the process of getting my 94 Camry back on the road since a head on airbags deployed.
I read somewhere in the forums that only the dealer can reset the airbag light after I put on new bags from wrecking yard is this true?
Also I have a check engine light on I have a OBD II reader but I read that the 94 is between OBD I and II so my reader wont work to read and reset codes is this true? If so how do I reset the codes?
Thanks

the easy way to clear all codes on a 1994 is disconnecting the battery negative cable for a a lest 5 minutes. about the air bag light ,air bags ecu are no reusable if a airbag deployed must replace bag or bags along with the ecu.

You mean the Air Bag ecu under the console right not the Ecu for the whole car right?

yes under center console , disconnect batt. before doing anithing to it ,it will pop al the bags if is rotate 180 deg. with power on (battery connected)
