I have a 94 Camry xle that will randomly start to lurch when I accelerate and shortly after it dies. It wont start back up initially, but if I let it sit for about 30 min to an hour it'll start right back up as though nothing happened. Is this indicative of a starter problem? any pointing in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

 

Might be the MAP sensor, try operating the car with the hose detached and plugged.

Also check the ign system, coil, and fuel flow and pressure.

 

Battery not secure under the hood and shorting out.
