Default 2005 Camry v6 oil leak question

I have a 2005 v6 that has a small oil leak that appears to be coming from between the transmission and engine and dripping straight onto the exhaust. The car only has 20,000 miles on it. Could this be anything other than the rear main seal? The fluid is light brown and not red. The car was run into high water at 18,000 miles where it did hydrolock the engine. It did get water in the oil. Before it was run again, all the fluids were drained changed and made to run again. I don't see how this would cause an oil leak but maybe someone knows something I dont.

Thanks for any help

Greg

Seems strange for the seal to leak at this low miles. Are you sure the fluid is not coming from the top of the engine such as the valve covers and moving down?

That was my first thought. I've looked and can't see a thing. I had a mechanic friend look at it and he agreed that its coming from between the two.
