Default 93 Toyota Camry V6 constantly ticks.

I have a 93 Toyota Camry V6, 5-speed manual. It has a constant ticking sound. I have already verified that the oil is there. The oil was recently changed. What is the cause of this?

A ticking noise is often caused by the preset clearance between the cam lobes and valves.

Use a section of hose as a stethoscope (something like garden hose will do) to narrow down the noise location. Listen at the valve covers, passenger side, upper middle and lower part of the engine. Plus any component driven by the "V" belts.

Is there any way to fix the problem?

Find out the area of the noise.

If from under the valve cover the valve clearance can be adjusted.
