95 camry temp guage

95 camry temp guage

Does anyone know if the temp hand is suppose to be in the middle of the guage or like this one, at or near the cold mark?

Usually just below center position. Could be gauge, sender or actual engine temp. If you ground gauge sensor wire (engine off - key to ignition) gauge should go all the way to hot. If so then I'd look at thermostat.
