Default oil pressure guage

i have a 93 with the 5sfe and was wondering where the best place to install an oil pressure gauge would be. is there a secondary port for the gauge or if you need to install it at the oil pressure sending unit.
also where is the sending unit located.

I installed a mechancial gauge on mine because the sending unit is small and fits well with the exisitng sender. The sending unit is tappedinto the right side of the head facing front. I would recommend keeping the existing sender and use a "T" fitting to install an aftermarket gauge. You will need a BSP to NPT adapter to install the "T" and keep the existing sender. AutoMeter gauges carry the adapter and some good mechanical/electric gauges.

This is a good DIY:
