I have replaced the bulb and the fuse on my dome light and it still isn't coming on. If it is a wiring issue, where would i even look/start? I unscrewed the four screws up top also and made it sure it was connected there which seemed fine.

 

Check if the dome light his getting power. The switch grounds the wire from the bulb to turn it on.

 

How do I do that exactly? I saw the old one flash on for a second when I took the bulb out but didn't stay on

 

Obtain voltmeter.

Check for battery voltage at bulb the socket contacts. One contact should have battery voltage.

The other terminal would then run to the switch. This terminal should then ground when the dome switch is turned on.
