Default Coolant leak

My 95 camry 2.2 is leaking coolant by the coolant pipes by the thermostat. Does the water pump need to be removed to replace the o-rings and gasket?

Yes. I did my timing belt and water pump on my 95 camry and the o-ring and gasket go on the water pump
then it fits into the two pipes if my memory serves me correctly - its been a couple of years.
it may be that the o-ring and gasket go on the pipes but either way the water pump has to come out.

There are two pipes. One pipe end has a flange with holes to allow bolting to the water pump housing. A gasket goes between the flange and housing.

The other pipe is crimped. An o-ring gasket goes onto the pipe end to be retained by the crimp.

When installing the pump housing onto the pipe, the crimped pipe is forced into a hole in the housing and the o-ring up against the end of the hole.

The other pipes flange is bolted to the housing plus the housing bolted to the block. There is another o-ring that goes between between the housing and block. .

The actual pump bolts to the housing.
