My Moonroof is not open, but when I open my car door, the MOONROOF Open warning comes on and I hear the warning tone. As soon as I start the car, it is gone. It is a 2007 Camry XLS. Any ideas?

 

Have you tried opening and closing the roof.

There may be roof switch open switch that is not closing. Look around roof opening for a switch.

 

I forgot to mention that the switch also does not open the moonroof. Do you think it could something as simple as a fuse? I have not checked that out.

 

Drivers door is tied into the sun roof system. As such perhaps if roof not closed and door open, the warning is triggered.

The sun roof does not work?

 

Did u figure out y the moonroof wasn’t opening?I have a 07Camry hybrid w/same issue. Thank u for ur time & any help 😊
