no power to instrument panel and wont start
we were installing heated seats in my sons car and he hit a wire and sparked. Now no power to instrument panel and car wont start/crank. Everything else works. Any ideas?

Start by checking the ECU-ACC fuse. Location is in a fuse box behind a coin box/ash tray on the far drivers side lower dashboard. Remove ash tray.box to access fuses. Check all fuses in this box.
Also fuses in the fuse/relay boxes in engine compartment.
