Default traction control in sand?

I saw a post about it in snow, I guess it works in sand...has anyone been on the beach? Thinking about going soon-wondering about this. Some say it's not that great in snow-can't get it moving so they turn it off.

System applies brake to limit wheel slip and with brake less power to that wheel. Thus car has trouble moving.

2012 Le I4 ...I think I'll just turn this off then, trac came back on after accelleration, turned both off & stayed off til I restarted. I guess they want you to run with them on with a temp. option off. Next ? ... do both wheels spin on front wheel dr or just one drive wheel?

However more automakers are adding traction control to more of their vehicles meaning that if a wheel slips then the brakes will activate on that wheel therefore transferring power to the other wheel giving you significantly more traction. DO WE HAVE THIS TOYOTA?

Toyota does not have positraction/limited-slip differential on Camry or perhaps any other passenger car. This is a truck and SUV option where the vehicle has a separate differential system. As in rear axle and or front axles linked by drive line to transmission.
