I discovered the trunk on my 21 can be opened when the car is running and the key is not near the rear of car. To me that's not good as anyone could walk up and open it without the key.

I'm sure there's nothing that can be done about this but it sures seems like a design flaw!

 

well i must say it is a security concern any one can get access to the trunk and do what ever they want to do. did you check the manual or contact the manufacturer to find some solution. There must be.

 

I couldn't find anything in the owner's manual that addresses this. There are a few customizations that can be performed by the owner, or dealer only, but nothing on this. I'll see what service says...
