Default Warning Light?

I'm driving a 91 Camry 4cy with a newly rebuilt engine. The oil light keeps coming on when I press on the brakes, however, a check of oil and brake fluid levels indicates I'm not running low on either. Any ideas what else this could mean? (the engine has less only a hundred or so miles on it since the rebuild)

While anyone's at it, I'd love to know what all the warning light combinations mean.

I learned a year ago that BRAKE + BATTERY = alternator not working.

it could be a problem with the oil sending unit...

It is supposed to have a new one, but I guess that's an easy place to start... Is it possible to switch wires on the brake, battery or oil lights?

I can recall when I had battery problems and pressig on the brake pedal caused the warning lights to go off. I just can't understand how pressing on the brake pedal has anything to do with the oil... I tried coasting to lower RPM and no light went off. It only happens at low RPM When the brake pedal is depressed.

Weird.
