Question Tpms blinks on and off

We have a 2012 Camry hybrid with 117,000 miles. We are the only owners. The tire warning lights starts flashing after we’ve driven about 25 miles. Then it turns on, and generally stays on unti we stop. When we start again, no tpms light is on, until we drive25 miles. All tires are inflated to 36ps. The monitor in the car shows one tire with no pressure, and 3 at the 36psi. What should be my next step in diagnosis and fixing?
Thank you

The owners manual should have something on the tire pressure monitoring system and how to reset it.

It could be a bad tire sensor and if so it will need to be replaced.

A tire repair shop may have a scanner that can determine if a sensor has issues by reading the sensor output directly.

toyomoho, I’ll try the rest and if the problem continues I’ll look for a tire shop that can read the sensor codes. Are you aware of any national chain shops that have that capability? In a town of 15,000 I’m not sure we have a place that does that.
thank you for your quick reply.

To clarify:

There is a device that can pickup a signal from the tire senor itself without using the cars electronics. This can then determine if the sensor is not generating a signal or has a problem.

The car has an ODBII system where a plug-in code reader with Toyota codes can read out trouble codes related to the tire pressure system.

Would assume tire pressure monitoring systems being common a facility that sells new tires would have some type of equipment as tire sensor failure, sensor battery failure, the need to link the tire sensor to the cars electronics is be a common requirement. As to chains, Discount Tire, Schwab, Firestone, etc. Any national chain store that sells and installs tires will need equipment to deal with tire sensor issue as SOP. But of course call first and provide car maker name as not all car makers use the same type of sensor.
