Very poor gas mileage on 94 camry
I have a 1994 Camry LE- it is not a California car- I fill my car up from empty and Im just about getting 190 miles to that full tank (15 gallon tank)- I do not smell any gas and there are no leaks- the only thing out of the ordinary is when I'm at a stop with the ac on it idles ruff- I just got the car a few weeks ago- I've since put new plugs in with a .44 gap- new wires, new pcv valve, and oil filter and air filter- while doing this I broke a two port piece that seems to be a trap for the cooling system- its green on top that has two smaller connected- it is on a housing but it is in front of the top radiator hose that leads right to it- I also replaced that- can someone direct me on what to do next- obviously don't have much money or would have a newer one so if some one could help with inexpensive diagnosis tips Id appreciate it. Also is the pcv valve suppose to fit snug or loose- on mine it fits loose- thanks again

The green top item is a temp controlled switch. It opens when coolant temp is warm to allow gas vapors to be routed from a can to the engine to be burned.
PCV valve should be snug in the valve cover, you don't want air leaks.
For the low MPG, check for broken or disconnected vacuum hoses, leaking PVC system (there is a small hose on the passenger side of the valve cover). If engine runs rough or starts hard check for ign coil problems. Can also be a bad 02/AF sensor.
How is the engine power?
Check for any engine codes stored.
