2005 Camry Bouncy Ride
Hello All,
I've got a 2005 Toyota Camry LE, Ive had this car for a little over a year now and the drive just keeps getting worse. It's bouncy when I go over bumps and the handling is really bad on it. My dad's 2002 Avalon handles way better than my camry. At slow speeds when I take turns I can feel the entire body roll. Haven't taken it to any mechanics yet, just wanted to get some people's opinions on what it could be. I'm assuming my shocks and gone, its only got 66k miles on it. Any ideas fellas? Thanks in advance.

I have an 05 as well. I think the handling is pretty decent myself for mine. It has more play in the wheel than i desire and not as stiff to the touch. But ive gotten use to it. Make sure you check your tire pressure. The more pressure you have the less bounce you should feel. Im nearly at 125k now. Havent noticed any problems with my suspension other than when braking... Seems to dip more the harder you brake. Takes some getting use to. I dont have a pitch or roll affect as you stated when cornering. I suggest you check your tires and see if you think they need replacing and go from there. Youd be suprised by what a new set of rubbers could do. Just my .02$
Try avoiding curbs or going over speed bumbs fast. This can jar things loose:P
