Hello!
I thought I just posted my question, but it did not take.
My dreaded, CHECK ENGINE light came on, I went to Autozone and used their diagnostic code reader, the results was a,
CODE P0446.
Indicates a Fault in the EVAP Emissions System Vent Control Circuit, for a predetermined period of time.
The Part (Dorman OE Solutions) price is, $676.99. !!!!!!
I HOPE, I do not need to pay a mechanic to put my car on a lift, and possibly fix this myself. I uploaded a few photos to ask, if this is the correct location. (Looking into car engine, right side, in the back) what looks like two cylinders, but not whats printed from Autozone, which looks square, with hoses coming off of them.
I hope this time, it will post.
Thank You,
. For a 98 Camry, XLE, 97,060 miles, is this the correct part? Im sorry, I can not afford $676.99, plus labor, plus any other parts. Will this subside on its own?
thanks, for any and all advice.
My old 73 Datsun P/U, and 86 Ford Ranger (Both 4Cyl) were a lot easier to work on, than the newer models, 1998 (loaded with vacuum, emissions sensors, relays, etc)
