I'm the new owner of a 2009 XLE 4 cylinder. It was great when I drove it away as a "certified" vehicle but now that the weather has cooled it has developed a squeak that emanates from down around the gas pedal or steering wheel area. It starts when I'm not driving on totally smooth pavement like most surface/non-highway streets around here and is pretty constant once it starts. I figure this is one of those items that Toyota will wiggle out of repairing under its "certified warranty" program,.... but I will ask. Any thoughts as to how to begin trouble shooting this would be great since it doesn't squeak when the car is parked.
