Default What is the OBD2 hack to check ATF temp?

I'm having transmission issues and want to check the fluid level (2011 4 cyl 56k). The manual is worthless for this, but I have read how to do it elsewhere in the past. I remember the fluid has to be between 104 to 113°F before removing the drain plug to see if the fluid drips out over the tube.
I do have a scanner with live data but it doesn't display tranny fluid temp. But I remember also reading about connecting some OBD2 contacts in order to see if the temp is in range.
Unfortunately, after hours of searching I can't find the OBD2 hack again.
Any help would be appreciated.

Default requires scanner to read temp

Ign key off, jump terminals 4 and 13.
Press/hold brake pedal.
Start engine (all accessories off). Indicators lights may blink.
Slowly shift between P and D, then to P.
Shift between N and D and back at an intervals of less than 1.5 secs, for 6 secs or more.
D shift indicator should illuminate for 2 seconds. If not for 2 secs repeat procedure above.
If D illuminated for 2 secs, move shift lever between N to P.
Release brake pedal.
Remove terminal jumper.
Idle engine until D indicator illuminates. Fluid will be between 95F and 113F.
If D indication blinks fluid is above 113F.
