Default 06 toyota solara passenger curtain airbag

Thank you very much for your answer. Only the passenger roof's curtain airbag is deployed. I just changed that air bag. Where is the impact sensor of that airbag?

Thanks.

Hi,

What is "SOP"? Do I need to flash my airbag control module?

Thanks

If you installed a new bag, did you replace the impact sensor for that bag?

If side impact, the sensor may also need replacing. Location may be near the seat belt reel on the side where the bag was deployed.

On resetting not sure, will check some more. Suggest researching 2006 Camry instead of Solara as almost the same car.

Remove the trim on the center chassis column where the seat belt disappears into the side trim. You should see the unit bolted to the column, wires are green and red.

Toyota also recommends replacing the rear sensor. This is located forward of the lower rear tire wheel well area. Access is inside the car by removing the trim panels, etc in this area. The sensor has the same colored wires.
