Where is the PS fluid leaking, out the seals under the boots at the end of the steering housing? If so, this require pullings the steering unit.

You can replace just the seals (if up to it) or the complete unit.

The AutoZone website at www.autozone has info on how to remove the steering unit. Look for the site link for Vehicle Repair Guides then work your way toward the car year, model, etc.

Parts are typically based on the year of car plus PS or manual steering. Look at the parts at www.rockauto.com to get an idea of parts available.

Might do a review of the posts at www.toyotanation.com as this topic has come up many times at that site and of course do a search of this site.

This post is probably too late, but are you sure it's the rack? I had a very bad leak on my '94, V6. I watched it very carefully and determined it was not the rack but the pressure line bolt on top of the power steering pump. There is a funny-looking copper gasket (more like a double washer) that I replaced and retorqued. Leak went away. The mechanic that looked at it was going to replace the entire pressure line which would have cost me a lot of money.
